This week Vanguard launched projected cargo availability dates online, delivering visibility and predictability to customers. Based on our proprietary algorithms, cargo availability is projected on the basis of vessel ETA, dwell times, congestion and throughput in our CFS.
Projected all the way through to downline CFS, customers can now get answers and be informed when they need to be, and ultimately save time. As customers tour our Freight Availability application, clear visibility of actual and projected freight availability is delivered.
Currently available for all orgins to NYC and via NYC IPI to final destination CFS, and covers our LCL and Gateway customer programs. A capability that will be expanded to all USA gateways in the near future.
